TikTok offers an endless stream of fun and informative videos that can have you scrolling for hours on end — as well as losing irresponsible amounts of sleep. With so much interesting content, it's easy to lose clips you might want to revisit later even after you've favorited them.

Fortunately, TikTok allows you to sort your favorite videos into collections, adding some order to your obsessions so you aren't scrolling through hundreds of K-pop fancams to find that one fried chicken recipe.

Here's how to sort your TikTok favorites into collections.

  1. Open TikTok.

  2. Tap the profile icon in the bottom right corner of the screen to go to your profile.

  3. Tap the ribbon bookmark icon next to the "Edit profile" button. This will show you any videos you've already favourited, as well as any collections you've made.

  4. Tap "Create new collection." A window will pop up asking you to enter a name for the new collection, which can be up to 30 characters long.

  5. Once you've typed in a collection name, tap the red "Next" button. This will bring you to a "Select videos" page which shows all the videos you have favorited but haven't added to a collection.

  6. Scroll through and select all the clips that you want in your new collection. Once you're done, tap the red "Add videos" button at the bottom of the screen. This button will also display the number of videos you have selected.

To add, remove, or transfer videos to a different collection, open the collection with the TikTok you want to move and tap the "Manage videos" button at the top of the screen. If the collection doesn't already have videos in it, the button will read "Add videos" instead.

You can also add TikTok clips to collections as you favorite them.

  1. Tap the arrow share icon on the TikTok you want to favourite, located just below the comment icon on the right of the screen. This will open up a "Share to" window.

  2. Tap the ribbon bookmark "Add to Favorites" icon on the bottom of the screen. A banner with a green check mark will pop up, reading "Added to Favorites."

  3. Quickly tap the "Added to Favorites" banner before it disappears, which will open a window "Add to collection."

  4. Tap which collection you'd like to add the video to. Alternatively, you can also tap "Create new collection" to do so directly from this window.

Of course, you'll still have to manually sift through the relevant collection if you're looking for a specific TikTok you've saved. But at least you'll be scrolling through dozens of clips instead of hundreds.
