Question from today's mailbox.

I've -- somehow -- enabled something called Photo Syncing in Facebook and now all the images off my smartphone are being uploaded to Facebook.

HELP!!!!! What Do I do? How do I turn this off?

Photo Syncing is a weird new feature on Facebook that allows you to upload ALL your photos to Facebook. OK, only you can see them, but I still don't understand why anyone would want to upload every photos to Facebook.

Fortunately, it is easy to disable. Here's how:

iPhone or iPad:

  • Fire up the Facebook app and go to your timeline
  • Tap Photos
  • At the bottom of the app, tap Synced
  • Tap the gear icon and choose Turn off Photo Sync
  • Tap Don't sync my photos

Android:

  • Fire up the Facebook app and tap the top-left main menu
  • Scroll to the bottom and choose Account > App Settings > Sync Photos
  • Tap Don't sync my photos

That's it!
