Ellen DeGeneres‘ Oscar selfie continues to break records.
The talk show host and comedian wanted her photo with celebrities Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Brad Pitt, Meryl Streep and more to be the most-retweeted picture of all time, a feat it achieved in just one hour. Eight months later, the star-packed shot tops Twitter‘s list of most-tweeted entertainment moments with nearly 255,000 tweets per minute. With more than 3.3 million retweets It was also the most-retweeted post on the social network this year.

Other popular entertainment moments on Twitter include Bruno Mars‘ Super Bowl halftime show with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, which had 230,000 tweets per minute, and Imagine Dragons with Kendrick Lamar at the Grammys, which had 172,000 tweets per minute. Rounding out the top five was DeGeneres’ pizza delivery during the Oscars and Lorde‘s Grammy win for best pop solo performance.

Following the Oscar selfie, the most retweeted tweets all came from pop heartthrobs. No. 2 was Justin Bieber‘s inspirational quote from January, in which he told his fans that they are “all worthy no matter what anyone says.”

Nos. 3 and 4 were tweets from One Direction‘s Niall Horan and Harry Styles celebrating the band’s fourth birthday. And No. 5 was Styles’ Tweet about being 20.

The top entertainment trends on Twitter also give insight into biggest pop culture conversations this year. Topping the list was the hashtag #Vote5sos, a reference to one of the MTV Europe Music Awards categories that was determined through social media. The Australian group ended up taking home the award for artist on the rise thanks to the campaign. TV shows Scandal, Teen Wolfe, The Walking Dead and Pretty Little Liars also had top hashtags this year.
Music is a big part of entertainment conversation on Twitter, and the celebrities with the most Twitter growth were predominantly musicians. Katy Perry gained the most with 13 million new followers this year. Bieber was second with 11 million new followers and DeGeneres was third with 10 million new follows.
